CHECK WHAT’S OPEN

Many hotels are open for business.  The hotel at River Cree Resort and Casino can accommodate you for business or pleasure. Either way, you’ll find yourself relaxing in our comfy and plush beds. Essential businesses like grocery stores and pharmacies are available close by. Our casino is still closed, but some of our popular restaurants are open:  

  • The Kitchen Restaurant is now open for in-person dining, take-out and delivery.  Serving all your favorite signature & classic dishes plus your all-time favorites “ALL YOU CAN EAT” specials. 
  • FatBurger is perfect if you are looking for a tasty hamburger, fries and shake.
  • Our Lobby Coffee Bar is great for coffee lovers or just meeting a friend. Freshly brewed Starbucks coffee, snacks, soup or sandwiches are available for grabs too. 

UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENT STAGES OF REOPENING 

Know the phases of reopening, and what they entail. It’s important to respect all public health and safety guidelines and set your expectations around what will be open. Information about mandatory masking, physical distancing, and public health measures is important for every traveller, even staycationers. 

WRITE OUT YOUR ITINERARY

Your itinerary is your guide! Use it to stay on track and ensure you’re doing everything you’ve planned. An itinerary is particularly important if you’re coming in from out of town. It will prevent you from missing important events you planned during your stay with us at the resort or within the beautiful city of Edmonton.  River Cree Resort and Casino is located only 5 minutes from the largest mall in North America, the West Edmonton Mall and our convenient location makes travel easy to anywhere in our city.

HOTEL AND RESTAURANTS

When booking a hotel for your next staycation, search for properties that have adopted enhanced cleaning procedures and sanitization practices. River Cree Resort has always taken your health and safety seriously, we are proud recipients of AHLA Safe Accommodation Promise (ASAP); meeting all ASAP requirements to provide a safe environment for guests and staff. 

We offer free cancellations and have a flexible booking policy to accommodate any last-minute changes with your travel plans. 

Upon your arrival, you’ll see we have social distancing protocols in place. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are also available in the hotel lobby. Don’t worry if you forgot your mask, complimentary masks, are available. When you get to your room, you’ll see a sanitized sticker on your door confirming it’s been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. At the end of your stay, you can take advantage of our express contactless check-out.

We believe having friends and family around is fun, but during your stay, for everyone’s safety, only registered hotel guests are allowed in the room. We are taking great care with health and safety protocols after the guests’ departure, including increased cleaning frequencies on high-touch areas. The room remains vacant and sanitized for 3 days before it can be assigned to new guests.

For indoor restaurants, expect increased distancing between groups as many tables will be removed. Seating capacity will be reduced, so you may have to book a table in advance.
